The advisor has committed, through 2-1-14, to waive fees and/or reimburse expenses to the extent necessary to cap the fund's total annual fund operating expenses after fee waiver, excluding brokerage commissions, interest, taxes, extraordinary expenses, and the expenses of any money market fund or other fund held by the fund, at 0.87%. After this time, such cap may be changed or the commitment to maintain the cap may be terminated only with the approval of the Board of Trustees. Without this cap, the fund's returns would have been lower.

1 The inception date of Class A shares was 7-29-96 and Class B and Class C shares was 10-3-02. Historical performance shown for Classes B and C prior to their inception is based on the performance of Class A, the original class offered, and has been adjusted to reflect the higher expenses applicable to Classes B and C. Historical performance shown for all classes of the Fund prior to 7-16-10 is based on the performance of the fund's predecessor, Evergreen Asset Allocation Fund. Historical performance for Class A prior to 10-3-02 is based on the performance of Class III of the Fund's predecessor fund, GMO Global Balanced Allocation Fund. Expenses of the GMO Fund were lower than the expenses the Fund incurs, in part because the GMO Fund did not pay 12b-1 fees. If the GMO Fund had incurred expenses at the same rate as the Fund does, the performance shown would have been lower. 2 For each fund with at least a three-year history, Morningstar calculates a Morningstar Rating based on a Morningstar Risk-Adjusted Return measure that accounts for variation in a fund's monthly performance (including the effects of sales charges, loads, and redemption fees), placing more emphasis on downward variations and rewarding consistent performance. The top 10% of funds in each category receive 5 stars, the next 22.5% receive 4 stars, the next 35% receive 3 stars, the next 22.5% receive 2 stars and the bottom 10% receive 1 star. (Each share class is counted as a fraction of one fund within this scale and rated separately, which may cause slight variations in the distribution percentages.) Past performance is no guarantee of future results. 3 Source: GMO. The GMO Global Asset Allocation Index is a composite benchmark consisting of 65% MSCI All-Country World Index and 35% Barclays Aggregate Bond Index. You cannot invest directly in an index. 4 The Lipper Global Flexible Portfolio Funds Average is an average of funds that invest at least 25% of their portfolio in securities traded outside of the U.S. across various asset classes, including both domestic and foreign stocks, bonds, and money market instruments. The total return of the Lipper Average does not include the effect of sales charges. You cannot invest directly in a Lipper Average.
