Getting Started With Quicken®

We currently support all versions of Quicken from 2004 through 2012 for the PC and Quicken 2006 through 2012 for the Mac platform. You are able to download information about your funds after you have established a login ID and password for Online Account Access.

Create a new Quicken account

  • Begin by selecting "Investing Center" in the left navigation bar.
  • Ensure that you are on the "Today's Data" tab at the top of the page.
  • In the middle of the page, click on "Add Account."
  • You will then need to enter Wells Fargo Advantage Funds® for the company name. If Wells Fargo Advantage Funds is not on your list, you will first need to update your software. You can do this by going to the "Online" tab at the top and selecting "One-Step Update."
  • In the next step, select the "Online" method of receiving this update.
  • Next you will need to enter the Wells Fargo Advantage Funds login ID and password that you have established previously.
  • Quicken will then search for the accounts and ask you to label each fund.
  • Quicken will then download the available history for each fund.
  • Keep in mind that Quicken uses Double Entry accounting methods and they may ask you to reconcile the cash balance as $0.
