Open a Rollover IRA
It's easy to get started. First, complete an application online.
If you already have your former employer's distribution request form, send it to us along with your Rollover IRA application and the transfer form that we will provide after you complete the application process. We'll forward the necessary information to your former employer and keep you informed on the status of the rollover.
If you don't have a distribution request form, our Rollover Specialists can assist you with contacting your former employer to obtain the required paperwork. Call 1-800-359-3379 for assistance.
To roll over your IRA, you'll need the following information:
- Your Social Security number (SSN)
- The address and Social Security number or Tax Identification Number of your beneficiary (You can designate up to three beneficiaries online.)
- Your email address (If you currently have accounts with us, verify that we have your correct email address on file.)
Important Information:
- All account owners and beneficiaries must be U.S. citizens or resident aliens with a U.S. mailing address and residential address (if different than mailing address), or a military address if in the armed forces.
- We can not accept third-party, credit card, or starter checks.
- You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader to view certain forms.
