On Friday, September 3, both the bond and stock markets will be open and will maintain normal hours of operation. In April 2009, the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association announced that it had reduced the number of its recommended early bond market closures and no longer recommends an early bond market close in advance of the Labor Day holiday.
On Monday, September 6, both the bond and stock markets will be closed for Labor Day.
