Turning off AOL's Parental Controls
In some cases America Online's Parental Control features may cause problems with your experience at our site. The AOL browser may notify you that a particular page or section of our site failed to load.

You should confirm that your Parental Controls are set to Access All Websites. The following instructions will guide you though this process for AOL 6.0, 7.0, and 8.0 users. If you are using an AOL browser BEFORE version 6.0, you should go to "Keyword: Parental Control" and follow the online instructions from AOL, or upgrade your version by going to "Keyword: Upgrade."

AOL 6.0/7.0/8.0:
1 Click on the Settings tab in the menu bar at the top of your screen.
2 Scroll down to Parental Controls.
3 Under Edit Parental Controls, make sure the current screen name you are logged in under is selected. In version 8.0, click the screen name you are currently logged in as.
4 If Current Age Category isn't set to General, click on Edit Age Category and change to General.
5 Close the box and log off from AOL. Log on again for the settings to become active.
