Retirement Planner

The Wells Fargo Advantage Funds® Retirement Planner is a quick and easy tool designed to help you put together a financial plan for your retirement. Benefits of the tool include:

  • Determine if your current plan is on track.

Provide basic information about your financial situation (e.g., income, tax bracket, current investments) and your projected years until retirement and the plan will then calculate if you are on the right track or if there is an expected shortfall.
  • Choose a basic or advanced version.

You have the choice of either plugging in some basic information to get a two-minute snapshot or you can choose the advanced version to incorporate your retirement accounts, expected Social Security payments, pension plans, as well as any potential windfalls (e.g., inheritance, sale of property, company, etc.).
  • Play “What Ifs”

to see the impact of raising or lowering your rate of return or monthly contributions.
  • Save your plan

so that you can review it or make adjustments at a later date. You can even create multiple plans so you can compare different scenarios.
  • E-mail the plan

to yourself, a spouse, or a financial advisor. They will receive a Web site link to the retirement planner showing your preset calculations.
