E-mail Policy

Wells Fargo Funds Management is committed to the highest standards of e-mail use. If you request information, we may send you future updates regarding new products and services via e-mail. If you do not wish to receive information regarding new products and services via e-mail and have already received e-mail correspondence from Wells Fargo Advantage Funds, you may opt-out of any future e-mail correspondence as detailed below. If you are filling out an online account form with Wells Fargo Advantage Funds and do not wish to receive this information via e-mail, do not enter an e-mail address.

When registering for secure account access, we require that a valid e-mail address be entered. This e-mail address will be used for trade confirmation, regulatory, and other purposes necessary to service your account. It is important that a valid e-mail address is maintained by you so that we can contact you regarding your account if needed.

You have the right to "opt out" of any e-mail correspondence at any time. To do so, simply send a message to fundservice@wellsfargo.com indicating your intentions. You may also choose to "opt out" of a specific type of e-mail as well. This can be done in two places. If you are a client, log in to your account and go to the Account Services/E-mail Services area to update your profile. If you are not a client, visit the E-mail Services section and follow the instructions. These two methods will allow you to adjust your subscription preferences and update your e-mail address.

If you believe you have received unsolicited e-mail from us, please contact us at fundservice@wellsfargo.com and we will provide you with the details on why you received the e-mail in question and advice on future e-mail delivery choices.

E-mail Image Tracking (a/k/a Web Bugs)

We value your privacy and limit the use of tracking images (a/k/a web bugs) in e-mail campaigns. We will use a clear image in most e-mail correspondence for the following reasons:

  • To track the format of e-mail that you are able to receive (HTML or Text) and then send the appropriate message format to you; and
  • To verify that you have opened an e-mail message that was sent.

We will not use these images to track the individual that you may forward an e-mail to. We will only use these images to evaluate the effectiveness of our e-marketing campaigns.
